Christian Rock band Casting Crowns is coming to Bainbridge. The group will be performing at the Bainbridge State College Student Wellness Center on March 11th at 7 p.m.

The event is being hosted by Words of Truth Teaching Ministry and will benefit the group’s continued work in Uganda as well as the Friendship House’s expansion to Donalsonville.

“We were trying to get them here and I knew what [the Friendship House] was doing in Donalsonville,” Words of Truth founder Stanley Philips said. “Thought if they were coming, lets do it in a dual way. We believe in the Friendship House’s work.”

According to Philips 100-percent of the proceeds will be split between Words of Truth Ministries and the Friendship House. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Feb. 5. General admission tickets are $29. For a group of 15 or more, it’s $20 per person. Seating is first come first serve.
