Anne Maxwell, 86, of Iron City, Ga., passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016.

Mrs. Maxwell was born May 12, 1929 in Cuthbert, Ga., the daughter of Clarence Greene and Effie Grubbs Greene. She worked as a seamstress for many years and loved to spend her time reading. Mrs. Maxwell had a passion for flowers and enjoyed her family and pets.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheryl M. Cutts of Iron City; her grandchildren, Cherie Cutts-Owens and her husband, Lance, and Kimberly Cutts-Montgomery; her great-grandchildren, Skylar Corbin, Holden Owens, and Allie Rae Montgomery. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Carlton Maxwell.
