The Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors baseball team from Damascus downed the Grace Christian Academy Cougars 12-5 Tuesday at the Bainbridge State College baseball field. The Cougars are now 5-5 on the season.
The game was close early but the Warriors came up with two runs in the fifth and five in the sixth to put the game away.
The Cougars scored two in the second and three in the third. Noah Thomas drove in the two second inning runs with a single and Michael Mills got the three third inning runs across with a base clearing double.
