Annie Lou Boutwell Brock, 92, of Climax, Ga., passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Hatchett officiating. Interment will follow at New Home Free Will Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery with her grandsons serving as active pallbearers.

Annie Lou Boutwell was born December 20, 1923, in Decatur County, the daughter of Edward Boutwell and Livie Thomas Boutwell. She was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and a member New Home Free Will Baptist Church No. 2. Annie worked at Georgia Industries for the Blind and retired from Jack Winter Co.
Miss Annie Lou loved her family and always enjoyed feeding them. When she wasn’t canning her goods from her garden, she could be found at her favorite fishing hole. Miss Annie Lou was always taken with watching things grow whether it was flowers in her garden or the children and grandchildren she loved so dearly.
Survivors include her children, Jean Whittaker Sallas and her husband, Harold, Coleman Brock and his wife, Wynelle, Cathy Moore and her husband, Doug, James Brock and his wife, Robbie, Dewayne Brock, and Janet Brock; her grandchildren, Steve Whittaker, Billy Whittaker, Josh Brock, Jaime Brock, Chuck Moore, Cindy Bonyata, Brittney Mathews, Kelli Dickson, and Blake Brock; her 15 great-grandchildren and her 2 great-great-grandchildren. Annie was preceded in death by her husband, William Hubert Brock, and her siblings Judson Boutwell, Katie Mae Harrell, Abbie Lee O’Neal, and Polly Bruner.
