Carolyn Evoyne Mount was born January 16, 1943, in Crenshaw County, Ala., the daughter of Gaston Mount and Trudy Duncan Mount. Carolyn made Bainbridge her home in 1979. She was of Baptist faith.

Carolyn had an eye for beautiful things. She enjoyed gardening and watching her flowers bloom. She loved antiques and “junking,” living out the motto “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. Carolyn was quite crafty and seemed to always have a project in the works. She would take a break occasionally to go fishing. You never doubted where you stood with Carolyn or what she was thinking. She has been described as a woman of strength who practiced perseverance.

Survivors include her son, Jeff Corley and his wife Sandra of Brinson, Ga.; her siblings, Willie Mount and his wife, Janie, of Birmingham, Ala., Larry Mount and his wife, Debbie, of Wetumpka, Ala., and Mary Jo Wilson also of Wetumpka; her granddaughters, Kristie Harrison and Amanda Trawick; and her great-grandchildren, Tenley McCarty, Hudson McCarty, Jaylin Lane and Caleb Corley. Carolyn was preceded in death by two husbands, John Corley and Bobby J. Allen; her son, Chris Corley; and her siblings, Ira Mount, Annette Wilson and Diane McCain.
