There will be a special called meeting of Memorial Hospital and Manor Authority members with officials of the City of Bainbridge and Decatur County Commission on Thursday, January 12 at 6 p.m. It will be held at the Charles H. Kirbo Center on the Bainbridge State College campus.
Memorial Hospital CEO Billy Walker said the purpose of the joint meeting is to adopt a resolution in order for the hospital to issue revenue bonds to refinance the hospital’s long-term debt. He said a memorandum of understanding is required for the city and county to support the bond issuance.
The meeting is open to the public interested in knowing more about the process and there will be opportunity for public comment.
