Multiple Bearcats punched their ticket at the Sectionals Meet

Bainbridge High School track and field wrapped up their performances at the sectionals meet with multiple Bearcats qualifying for the State Track Meet in Carrollton.
For the boys, Roman Harrison finished 8th and earned a spot at state in the discus throw. Zion McGee finished 4th at sectionals and will represent Bainbridge in the triple jump event. The Bainbridge 4X100 relay team of Javon Mill,s Danis McMullen, Lance Cosby and Vonderious Campbell also qualified for the state meet.
The highlight of the Sectional Meet was when Vonderious Campbell finished 3rd in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 10.62 which is his personal best time in this event, and the 4th fastest time ever run at BHS. Campbell also finished 2nd in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 21.37. This time set a new school record as the fastest time ever recorded at Bainbridge High School in this event. Going into the state meet, he has the 2nd fasting qualifying time in the entire state in the 200 Meter dash in class AAAAA
Jaylyn Scott finished 5th in the 110 Hurdles, recording his best performance in this event this year. Scott also finished 1st in the 300 Meter Hurdles with his personal best time of 37.91. This is time also is the 3rd fastest time ever ran at BHS. He currently holds the fastest time in the state of Georgia in class AAAAA going into the state meet.
The state meet will be held at Carrollton High School, May 11-13.
