On May 16-17,  Bainbridge Public Safety Engineers Jeff Kelly and Joboa Dixon completed a “Confined Space” training class to become proficient in the basic skills needed to safely and efficiently perform rescues in confined spaces.  Also participating in the class were two members of Decatur County Fire and Rescue, Firefighter Greg Brown and Lieutenant Steve Enfinger. Training was conducted by Jimmy Lee of Emergency Response Service, Inc., and took place at Danimer Scientific on Industrial Boulevard in Bainbridge.  Sean Schuyler, Director of Corporate Compliance for Danimer Scientific, organized the groups, coordinated the setup and training, and provided water, Gatorade, and snacks.
