Grace Delores Griner was born August 23, 1931, in Brinson, Ga., the daughter of Landon Griner and Inez Wilson Griner. She was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School. Grace married Joseph Hatton in 1952 and they made Panama City their home in 1955.

She always put her family first, faithfully serving as an Air Force wife and homemaker. Described as “The Boss”, Grace ruled with honesty and integrity. She was a spitfire so there was never a dull moment. Her table was set for a 4:15 supper and you knew not to be late or you may miss dinner.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Joseph Hatton of Panama City; her children, Frank Hatton and Lisa Henley and her husband, Michael, also of Panama City; her grandchildren, Kayla, Crystal and Ryan; and her great-grandchildren, Maddie, Carlee, Robert and Sydney. Grace was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Odell Griner, Hortense Kirkland, Odge Griner, Betty Chewning, Doris Skipper and Lorenzo Griner.
