St. John’s Episcopal Church is celebrating its Sesquicentennial (150 years) Anniversary in 2018.
While there will be events throughout the year, the first of these will take place on the weekend of Feb. 3 and 4.
On Saturday, Feb. 3 at 6:30 p.m. there will be a service of Evening Prayer with lessons and hymns reflecting the anniversary of the parish. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
On Sunday, Feb. 4 at 10:30 a.m. there will be a service of Holy Eucharist with Bishop Benhase as the celebrant. Afterward, there will be a blessing of the new sidewalk and pet memorial garden, followed by a catered luncheon. All members (former and current) and their families are invited to attend both events.
