Bainbridge baseball gets big region win over Warner Robins

Dalton Harrell had all the right stuff on Friday for Bainbridge, allowing zero runs and besting Warner Robins by a score of 12-0.
The Bearcats secured the victory with a huge second inning, where the team scored 11 runs. Will Kelley, Walt Burrell, Nolan Barr, Sam Boutwell, Michael Conder and Conner Strickland powered the big inning with RBIs.
A single by Robert Smith in the second inning was a positive for Warner Robins, but it wasn’t enough to get any momentum going.
Harrell took the win for Bainbridge. He allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out 12.
Blake Ethridge took the loss for Warner Robins. He allowed two hits and eight runs over one and one-third innings, striking out two.
Harrell also went a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Bainbridge in hits, scoring a run and banging out two RBIs. Bainbridge also didn’t commit a single error in the field.
Griffin Long had 11 chances in the field, the most on the team.
Bainbridge played Cairo on Tuesday and will play Veterans in a doubleheader at Bearcat Stadium on Friday.
The first game starts at 5 p.m. and the second game begins at 7:30 p.m.
