BHS FFA officer team plans for year

The 2018-2019 BHS FFA Officer Team recently held a two day Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) at Bainbridge High School.
The upcoming officer team members are: President-Luke Jones, Vice President-Adron Ingle, Secretary- Sara Matthews, Treasurer-Cayden Harrell, Reporter-Faith Taunton, Sentinel- Taylor Barber, Parliamentarian- Logan Grubbs, Chaplain- Weston Powell and Historian- Madalyn Yancey. These FFA members worked hard over the two day training learning about team building, increasing membership and involvement and planning a complete Program of Activities. The chapter officers were challenged to create a set of standards for their team and write down goals for the year. They also focused on professionalism, service, commitment, sharing the message, recruitment and teamwork.
In addition, the FFA officer team set goals to attend the National FFA Convention in October in Indianapolis, IN. National FFA Convention is a 4 day leadership conference that is focused on career success, industry involvement, networking with others and building lasting relationships that will benefit FFA members now and in the future. This will be a dynamic experience for our students that will make a lasting impact on their lives. Fundraising and sponsorship efforts are being made by all of the officers.
