Frances L. Rich September 22, 2018 Frances L. Rich, 86, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Burrell officiating. A private interment will be held at Brinson Cemetery. Frances Lou Rich was born April 22, 1932, in Bainbridge, the daughter of Elijah Allen Rich and Bennie Lou Parker Rich. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and attended both Climax Baptist Church and First Baptist Church. Fran married Herbert L. Rich who preceded her in death. Mrs. Rich was a custom kitchen and bath designer until her retirement. She was known for her kindness, her caring ways, and her love of animals. She took in many strays over the years. She loved to sing, whether in the choir at church or just around the house. Her family was everything to her. Survivors include her daughter, Linda K. McNease and her partner, John Brinson of Bainbridge; her son-in-law, Tony Barber of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Quinton Lanier (Audrey) of Bainbridge, Kerry McNease (Renee) of Stow, Ohio, Lea Kacey McNease Williams (Chris) of Donalsonville, Savannah Barber Carroll (Caleb) of Dahlonega, Jenni Barber and Brandon Barber of Bainbridge; her great-grandchildren, Malayla Dennis, Heidi Kelly, Kayne Lanier, Keagan McNease, Immogen McNease, Kaylee Williams, Kaytie Carroll and Ryleigh Lanier; her brother and sister-in-law, Devid and Inez Rich of Bainbridge; her sister-in-law, Jo Ann Rich; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Fran was preceded in death by her siblings, Mattie Lou Parker, Rev. Sam Rich, Emory Rich, Irene Toole, Ida Belle Glass, Sarah Bausback, Minnie Lee Hatcher, Mary Ann Parker, and Elijah Allen Rich, Jr. (Buck); her beloved daughter, Brenda Kaye Barber; and her great-grandson, William Beaty, Jr. |
