Faye Holt Fall, age 82, died in the morning on Sunday, December 2, 2018, in Cumming, Ga., at Towne Club Windermere. Faye was born in Climax, Ga. on July 11, 1936. She graduated from Climax Consolidated High School in 1954. Faye attended Berry College for a short time in 1955. She graduated from Georgia College for Women (known now as Georgia College) in 1959 with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics with a minor in Science. Faye taught home economics in Forest Park before marrying Richard E. Fall in 1961. She followed her husband throughout the Northeast, Midwest, and the South as he changed jobs through his career. Faye had a long career with Sears, where she held different positions, until her retirement from the Sears ASC in Tucker, Ga..

Faye loved to read, put puzzles together, play Mexican Train dominos and other games with family and friends. One of Faye’s favorite adventures was a trip out west to Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado with her sister.

Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, of 57 years. She is survived by her daughters Lisa F. Parrott of Buford, Ga., Dr. Leigh M. Fall of Oneonta, N.Y., and Jennifer L. Fall (Kris Poist) of Woodstock, Ga.; granddaughter Valerie N. Parrott of Hermitage, Tenn.; sister Sara H. Lunsford of Roswell, Ga.; and sister-in-law Norma L. Stevens of Augusta, Maine. A private burial service was held on December 7, 2018, at Honey Creek Woodlands at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit, a natural burial ground, in Conyers.

A memorial service will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500, Chicago, IL 60611.
