Morgan Phillips weds Matt Moree

On May 25, 2019, Miss Morgan Phillips, daughter of Craig and Lynn Phillips, became the bride of Matt Moree, son of Alan and Sharon Moree.

The ceremony was held at Loblolly Rise Plantation with Stanley Phillips and Steve Brooks officiating.

The bride is a 2014 graduate of Bainbridge High School, and graduated from Augusta University in 2019 with a BS degree in Nursing.

She is the granddaughter of Joyce Harrison and the late Jerry Harrison, Mary Phillips and the late Billy Phillips, and the great-granddaughter of Evelyn Hutchins, Reba Harrison and the late James Harrison and of Harry White.

The groom graduated from Deerfield-Windsor High School, Albany, Ga., in 2011 and from UGA in 2015. He is completing his last year of dental school at Augusta University with an expected graduation in May 2020.

He is the grandson of Jimmy and Norma Moree, and of Richard Cox and the late Janette Cox.

Kasey Phillips served as Maid of Honor; and other attendants were: Kalli Phillips, Macy Tabb, Conner Harrison, Abby Phillips, Casie Phillips, Kelly Brooks, Michael Jones, Wynn Butler and Molly Holland. Daisy Phillips served as flower girl.

Alan Moree served the groom as best man. Other groomsmen were: James Moree, Giles Moree,, Josh Moree, Brice Bonner, Cooper Shoemaker, Chris Moates, Harris Webb, Ben Miller and Jake Holtzclaw.

Newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Moree, are currently making their home in Augusta, Ga., with plans for establishing a home in South Georgia in the spring.
