Miss Garcia to wed Mr. Shirah in April

 

Eliseo and Martha Alicia Garcia of Conyers, Ga. are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Garcia to Leon Scott Shirah, of Albany. Mr. Shirah is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Carl J. Shirah III of Bainbridge.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Rodriguez. She graduated from Heritage High School in 2009 and from Georgia State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is employed with Advantage RN out of Ohio as a Traveling Nurse.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Ms. Zeldra Shirah of Bainbridge and the late Carl J. Shirah Jr., Ms. Rose Culverson of Bainbridge and the late Leon D. Culverson Sr;, and Ms. Phyllis Reagan, also of Bainbridge.

Mr. Shirah graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2007, and from Georgia Southwestern University in 2013, with a degree in marketing. He is employed as an injury claims adjuster with Progressive Casualty Insurance Co. of Albany.

The wedding is planned for April 18, 2020, at Hummingbird Hill Farms, Perry, Ga.
