Allison Whitaker and Hugh Dollar, both of Bainbridge, are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride elect is the daughter of Scott Whitaker and Wanda White and step-father Mark White. Her grandparents are Marlin Whitaker, Joyce Galpin, Herman Hand and the late Poshil Hand.

Miss Whitaker is a 2012 graduate of Bainbridge High School and graduated from Bainbridge College (ABAC) in 2018 with a degree in nursing. Her profession is registered nurse.

The groom-to-be is the son of Tommy and Audrey Dollar. His grandparents, all deceased, are Hubert and Abbie Dollar and C.D. and Edna Turner.

Hugh Dollar graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2006 and from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in 2009 with a degree in Agricultural Business. He is engaged in farming.

Miss Whitaker and Mr. Dollar will be wed November 21, 2020, in a private ceremony at the home of Tommy and Audrey Dollar. Reception arrangements are yet to be determined due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
