Sharon Barber Ogburn, 69, of Faceville-Chattahoochee area, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020.

The graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Sylvania Cemetery with Rev. Robert Johns officiating. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.

Sharon Louise Barber was born May 22, 1951 in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of William and Irma Johnson Barber. She was a graduate of Chattahoochee High School. She worked at the Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee and was a member of Faceville Baptist Church.

Sharon was always on the go and kept track of the comings and goings of all the family. She was organized and remembered EVERYTHING. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed listening to music (R&B, soul, and a little Luke Bryan). She loved the beach, dogs & cats, and all children. (Sharon was known to make fried cornbread for a nephew that liked it better than candy.) Her nature was to put others first. Journey, her granddaughter, was the apple of her eye and Sharon would beam with joy at the mention of her name.

Survivors include her children, Emily & Raymond White of Chattahoochee, Fla., and Ronnie & Mila Ogburn of Greensboro, Fla.; her mother, Irma Barber; her siblings, Mark Barber, Glennie & Mike Cox, and Vera Barber & Phillip Pope, all of Faceville, and Janie & Al Kelley of Bainbridge; her granddaughter, Journey of Midway, Fla.; and several precious nieces and nephews.  Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Milt Ogburn; and her father, William Gordon Barber.
