Harry Gaither, 59, of Moultrie, Ga., formerly of Thomasville and Bainbridge, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020.
The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Massey officiating. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.

Harry Lee Gaither was born December 7, 1960 in Cook County, Ill., the son of Jack Lee and Anita Lambdin Gaither. Harry held a master’s degree and was a member of Covenant Christian Church.
Harry was a very private person. He spent a great deal of time working at the church particularly in the video ministry. He was always doing something on the computer, so this was a natural fit. Harry enjoyed singing and writing poetry. He was proud several of his works were published.
Survivors include his daughter, Shelby Bird of Ocala, Fla.; and his father & step-mother, Jack & Shirley Gaither. Harry was preceded in death by his mother, Anita L. Gaither.
