If you are in need of picking up some Christmas cheer with a message of hope, then drive by the home of Ron and Rosalind Harrigan at 1000 Douglas Drive in the evening and view the beautifully lighted display on their front lawn.
Harrigan says he has decorated for years as a way to get himself into the mood for Christmas; but “I also do it for the neighborhood, and for anyone who comes by.” It pleases him how many people stop and comment on it as he is working to place the display. “I enjoy doing it, although it takes me about five days to complete it,” he explains.
“This has been an especially tough year for everyone, so I decided to put the lights up before Thanksgiving, This year I added a Nativity Scene with the Star of David brightly shining.”
