Shamrocks abound at March Second Saturday this weekend

The public is invited to come explore and experience all Downtown Bainbridge has to offer this Saturday, as the Downtown Development Authority celebrates the March Second Saturday with a St. Patrick’s theme.
Special Events Coordinator for the City of Bainbridge, Randee Eubanks, describes the day as follows.
Special events planned are a Kid’s Workout Class scheduled to take place at The Lift on Troupe Street at 11:30 a.m. Contact The Lift for more information and to register.
A St. Patrick’s Scavenger Hunt will be held in the downtown from 1 to 3 p.m. It begins and ends in Willis Park; but 15 St. Patrick’s Day related clues will take searchers throughout the whole business downtown and prizes will be awarded at the end.
The Arts Gallery will be open and welcoming visitors to see the latest exhibit featuring the work of Lynda Todaro.
First National Bank will be on the square handing out free popcorn.
Throughout the day downtown merchants will be hosting sidewalk sales, and visitors will be able to patronize local restaurants and bars, especially the newest restaurant and lounge name SIO’s, located on the ground floor of the newly renovated hotel.
In the evening, have a seat in Willis Park and enjoy the music of solo guitarist Jake Vinson of Donalsonville, who will provide music from the Gazebo from 5 to 7 p.m.
