William H. “Billy” Pollock, 78, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
The graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Delwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. DeWitt Phillips officiating. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.

William Herbert Pollock was born September 8, 1942 in Bainbridge, the son of Leon Sr. and Maggie Dean Pollock. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1960. Billy was a retired truck driver for Heartland and enjoyed every minute of the open road. He married Rebecca Charlene “Becky” Smith on Valentine’s Day 1992.
Billy was down to earth with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed simple pleasures like fishing & sharing fishing tales, westerns, and college football. He did not judge others and believed “live and let live”. Billy’s love language was picking on you. His terms of endearment were his way of expressing just how much he loved you.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Becky Pollock; his children, Teresa Diane & Chris Dudley of Tennessee, William II & Kelley Pollock of Climax, Ga., Tyler Pollock & Courtney Lambert of Bainbridge, and Georgia Miguez of Texas; and his grandchildren, Blake & Chasidy, Christian, Will, Victoria, Scarlett, Serenity, Saige, and Toby. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheila Pollock; his grandson, Cody Brown; and his siblings, Leon Franklin Pollock, Jr. and Clara Jean Josey.
