Johnnie Allen Meredith, Jr., 83, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
A private service will be held at Beulah Thomas Baptist Church Cemetery.

Johnnie Allen Meredith, Jr. was born January 18, 1938 in Bainbridge, Ga., the son of Johnnie Sr. and Mary Kent Meredith. He married Sara Brinson and they made their home in Decatur County. Johnnie retired from Amoco Fabrics & Fibers. Many will remember Johnnie from serving customers over the years at the Inland Store near Stone’s and Drew Oil across from Betty’s Cafeteria. He had a strong belief that family is the foundation on which happiness is built. He treated his customers like family and enjoyed sharing in their lives. Johnnie loved being outdoors and spent hours in his garden or fishing.
Survivors include his children, Charles Randall Meredith and his wife, Renee, of Donalsonville, Danny Meredith and his wife, Teressia, of Bainbridge, and Susan Doreen Meredith of Climax; his grandchildren, Danny, Lucas, Josh, and Jay; and his two great-grandchildren, Carson and Faith. In addition to his parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Brinson Meredith; and his daughter, Sara Ann Wise.
