Historic Home Trolley Tour a feature of Second Saturday events

A unique guided trolley tour of 15 Bainbridge Historic Homes will be held Saturday, May 8, as part of the Second Saturday Downtown Bainbridge celebration.
Sponsored by Visit Bainbridge, the tours will depart from the West Street side of Willis Park Gazebo at 3 p.m, 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Each tour has a maximum capacity of 35 guests.

Crystal Hines, community affairs director of the Bainbridge Convention and Visitor’s
Bureau, said the trolley is a motor driven vehicle rented from Tallahassee. It will stop at each location riders will view the exteriors while the tour guide describes the history of the house and those who have called it home.
Hines said there are plans to repeat a tour through a different section of the City in the fall.
Tourist information is available from the Downtown Development, Convention and Visitor’s Bureau office located at 205 E. Broughton Street.
