Lee Ward, 34, of Crestview, Fla., passed away Monday, May 3, 2021.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Brother Greg Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.

Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by the U. S Navy. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those

Lee was born October 7, 1986 in Tallahasse, Fla., the son of Mark and Terry Chastain Ward. He graduated from Bainbridge High School, Class of 2005, and

retired from the U. S. Navy. He served two deployments to Afghanistan, one deployment to the Marshall Islands, and served on the destroyer, USS Stout. He

was currently employed with the U.S. Post Office in Crestview, Fla. Lee was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Lee’s whole life was his three kids. He loved sharing time with them and watching them grow up.

Survivors include his children, Waylon Ward, Scarlett Ward, and Tucker Ward, all of Mossy Head, Fla.; his parents, Mark and Terry Ward of Bainbridge, Ga.; and

his brothers, John Ward of Bainbridge, Ga. and Bobby Ward of Albany, Ga.
