It’s almost time for the annual Syrup Sop!
The Bainbridge High School cheerleaders and BHS FFA will be teaming up for a community pep rally that will include pancake plates, along with activities.
BHS Cheer Coach Mycla Palmer said the event will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, on the Square, where they will have the cheerleaders, BHS drumline and football players present to pump up the crowd for the rival game on Friday, October 1.
Palmer said clubs will be present and have activities and games set up for the children to play, while FFA will be located at the Hook and Ladder passing out plates from 5-7 p.m.
The plates cost $5 and include three pancakes, two patty sausages, syrup and butter. All the money raised will go toward the FFA Club for their annual activities.
Palmer hopes to see everyone there and full of spirit for the first region game of the season.
