Julia Onez King Lee, 89, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Kirkland officiating. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mrs. Lee was born March 11, 1932, in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of Jesse Glenn King and Ethel Lee Lynn King. She was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School, Class of 1950, and was a Missionary with the Church of God.
Survivors include her sons, Robert Lee of Kingston, Tenn., Woodrow Lee of Franklin, N.C., and Jack Lee of Louisville, Ky.; her daughters, Jessie Miller of Tallahassee, Fla., Dorothy Yates of Tallahassee, Fla., and Ruby Henry of Albany, Ga.; brother, Allen “Al” King of Donalsonville, Ga.; her sixteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ira Jackson Lee, and her seven siblings.
