Kay Elizabeth Bush, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lane Bush of Bainbridge, Georgia became the bride of Shane Michael Buerster, on April 23, 2022.

The bride is the granddaughter of Patsy Kay Taylor Bush of Colquitt, Georgia.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Edmund Buerster of Pooler, Georgia and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Adams of Savannah, Georgia and Mrs. Eleanor Nadine Buerster of Salem, Illinois.

The couple was married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the gardens near the Chattahoochee River at the Bibb Mill Event Center. The couple wed beneath a handmade wooden arbor created by the bride and her father. The arbor flowers were given in loving memory of the grandparents of the bride, Mr. Joseph Onlice Bush and Mr. and Mrs. Heidt Fortson Neal, III and the grandfather and uncle of the groom, Mr. Delbert Joseph Buerster and Mr. William Joseph Buerster.

Dr. Craig Thomas McMahan officiated, while the String Quartet by the Columbus State University Schwob School of Music performed.

Miss Sarah Margaret Bush and Miss Taylor Lane Bush, both sisters of the Bride served as Maids of Honor, alongside Miss Candace Rebekah Cook. Other attendants were Ally DelGuidice-Bove, Madison Brooke Buerster, the sister of the groom, Emma Taylor Patterson and Karlee Suzanne Windmiller.

Abigail McKinley Callins and Elizabeth Patricia Norman, the cousin of the bride, both served as Junior Bridesmaids. Laney Leigh Phillips served as flower girl.

The bridesmaids wore formal full length power blue chiffon gowns and carried bouquets of various white and blue flowers, while the bride donned a white, full length A-line layered formal gown with a modest train and a floor length veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and hydrangea with special tokens woven into the handle- a six pence from her maternal great-grandmother, a tiny redbird symbolizing her maternal grandmother, and a silver charm borrowed from her paternal grandmother.

Eric Michael Bailey served as Best Man. Other attendants were Carter William Canady, Dr. David Randall Harshbarger, Antonio Terrell Mitchell, Robert Benjamin West and Carter Anthony Varga.

Joel Franklin Rene Calliins, Phillip Matthew Hughes Jr., Heidt Neal Norman, cousin of the bride, and Wyatt Sandford West served as ushers.

Cousins of the bride, Master Hughes Thomas Neal and Master Lyle Thomas Neal were both ring bearers.

The couple thanked everyone for traveling to Columbus to celebrate with them and for their continuous support and guidance over the years, as they plan to settle into this new chapter in their lives.
