Patricia Ann Lynn was born March 20, 1952, in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of Hubert & Jessie Lou Gunn Lynn. She married Joe Conyers in 1977, and they made their home in Bainbridge. Patricia was Baptist by faith.

Known as “Nama” to everyone, Patricia left no doubt where she stood on most any issue. She kept up with her people on Facebook which will surely see a drop in activity. She enjoyed traveling and kept a bag packed just in case an opportunity presented itself. Patricia wasn’t picky about destinations; she loved everything from Busch Gardens to the mountains. Elvis still made her knees buckle when she thought of him crooning her favorite songs. Nama’s children, grands, and great-grands knew without a doubt she was their number one fan and hardly ever denied their requests.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Joe Conyers; her children, Frankie Funderburke (David) of Bainbridge, Charlie Marshburn (Nikie) of Blackshear, and Renee Sykes Jones also of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Anna & Kyle, Chastity & Jesse, Kyle & Briana, CJ, Nickolas, Morgan, and John; and her great-grandchildren, Madison, McKenna, Bubba, Aubrey, and Baylen. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Charles “Pap” Long and her sister, Gail McLaughlin.
