Betty Louise Clements, age 94, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.  A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 1, at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Bainbridge, Georgia.  The Rev. David Grubbs will officiate.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service. 

Betty Louise Corley was born July 8, 1928, in Tallahassee, Florida, to Paul Corley and Margaret McLeod Corley.  Betty was raised in Tallahassee.  She married the love of her life, Perry Levon Clements, Sr.  She and Perry raised 5 children, worked hard, and shared their joys and sorrows for 64 years until his death in 2010.  Betty owned Betty’s Fashions for many years.  She and Perry ran Carter’s Fried Chicken for 18 years.  Betty loved to travel.  She and her best friend, Jeri Ward, had the best time when they would go to the mountains.  Betty deeply loved her grandchildren and enjoyed every minute with them.  Betty Clements will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

Mrs. Clements is survived by her children, Martha Reynolds, Donna Barber (David), Buddy Clements (Margie), and Terri Clements (Steve Enfinger); grandchildren, Tracy Carter (Tommy), Robin Ditrani (Mike), Jason Barber (Tabitha), Mathew Barber (Allison), Perry Clements, III (Brenda), Stacey Clements (Jennifer), Ashley Webb (Terry), and Holly Kelly (Scott); 23 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Tammi Clements, her sister and 2 brothers.
