Artice C. Swain Mack was born December 29, 1937, Decatur County, Georgia, to the late Calvin and Ivey Swain. She was preceded in death by a son, her mother, father and several siblings. She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Charles Douglas Mack, Sr., who also preceded her in death.
Mother Mack confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Mt. Ararat Primitive Baptist Church of McCraeville where she served until her failing health. She was employed by Thomas & Betts where she retired in the early 90’s.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her children: Reverend Alexander Mack (Rose), Tallahassee, Fla.; Charles Douglas Mack, Jr., McCraeville, Ga.; Lynita Bell (Kirk), Tallahassee, Fla.; Tammy Clark (Ricky), McCraeville, Ga.; Marilyn Gadson (Lenorris), Tallahassee, Fla.; Leonard Stubbs, Rochester, N.Y.; Woodrow Fortner, Jr. (Hattie), Calvary, Ga.; grandchildren: Christopher Mack, Shakira Hawkins (Terence), Alexis Clark, Alex Mack, Andre’ Mack, Brandon Alexander, Regina Morrison, Marlin Morrison, Nesir Stubbs, Teracus Keaton; great-grandchildren: Jaivion, Christopher, Jr., I’Y ana, Javarious, Rihanna, Tiana, Olivia, Charlie; siblings: Totsie Edmond, John L. Jones (Minnie), Shadrack Swain, Annie Doris Harrison, Tommy Swain (Gloria); sister-in-laws: Lucy Swain, Julia Mae Grant, Margaret Swain, Mary Swain; godson: Elder Darrell Harrison; goddaughters: Sherry Fagg, Felicia Hunter; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, classmates, adopted children and grandchildren, and faithful church members.

Internment will be held at the Mt Ararat Memorial Garden in McCraeville, Ga. Repast will be held at the Mt. Ararat P.B. Church dining hall.
