Bainbridge Public Safety arrested Jacoiah Deshawn Harrell on Tuesday afternoon, on the charge of failure to appear on a count of aggravated assault, specifically a shooting. However, Harrell is now being extradited to Dothan, Alabama, in connection to the 2021 murder of Dothan resident Sincere Tyson.

Tyson was murdered in his home during a break-in on October 9, 2021. Initially, Climax resident Solomon Cooper and Bainbridge resident Zycheria Russ were arrested in December of that year. The Dothan Police Department, having recently identified Harrell as a potential suspect, requested public assistance in finding him, and attributed his arrest to an anonymous citizen tip.

Once extradited to Dothan, Harrell will be facing a charge of Capital Murder.
