Memorial Hospital and Manor recently received a sizable donation through the Georgia Heart tax credit program, this time from PeoplesSouth Bank. This is not the first time the bank has given to the hospital, with this year’s donation totaling $25,000.
“As a community bank located in a rural market, we are honored to participate in supporting our rural hospitals,” Alicia Cone, Branch Manager and VP of the Bainbridge PeoplesSouth said. “It gives us great pleasure to give back to our community in both banking and healthcare services.”
“We greatly appreciate PeoplesSouth Bank and their continued support of our hospital year after year,” said Memorial Director of Development Jamie Sinko. “Local businesses like them make such a big difference to our community as a whole. Locals supporting locals is something Bainbridge is very proud of, and Memorial Hospital and Manor is so thankful for this donation as we continue to look to upgrade equipment and our facilities.” She concluded by again thanking PeoplesSouth Bank “for your dedication to supporting us, and therefore surrounding residents, over the years.
