Willow Ridge Personal Care Home often celebrates the birthdays of its residents at a certain day once a month. However, for residents over the age of 100, the home goes the extra mile to give them something special. One resident who received such a special celebration recently was Ms. Madeline “Madge” White, who turned 104 years young last Thursday.
In addition to a special lunch, Dairy Queen supplied an ice cream cake for the party. Ms. White’s family, including her daughter Brenda Cloud and son-in-law Ken, as well as her son Randy White and his family, and several other family members, all came to attend the party, alongside the other Willow Ridge residents.
“I never thought I’d live to see 104,” White said in an interview with WTXL.
“We wish Ms. Madge White a wonderful 104th year and appreciate those who celebrate our residents with us on their birthdays and every other day as well,” Memorial Hospital Director of Development Jamie Sinko told the Post-Searchlight.
