After both a soft and grand opening in May, Nightfall Books finally held its ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday morning.
“We welcome you here, at the Chamber,” said Chamber President Karen Tobin to store owner Kendyl Peak. “We are thrilled that your dream and your passion has come to Bainbridge, and we are your resource for bettering business. We congratulate you for putting this together, this beautiful, amazing little shop.”
Nightfall Books offers a variety genres, from general fiction to romance, science fiction and manga, as well as works both by Georgia authors and set in Georgia. The store even features a room dedicated to children’s books. Art supplies, t-shirts and puzzles are also in stock.
“I am honored to be a part of downtown Bainbridge,” said Peak, “and am appreciative of the way the community has showed up to support me.”
