Margie Galloway was born March 1, 1951 in Hartford, Alabama to Homer Galloway and Rossie Mae Shields Galloway.  Margie grew up one of seven children.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  Margie married the true love of her life, Steve Lee.   She and Steve shared 51 wonderful years together.   Margie loved to play bridge, tennis, and spend time with her friends.  She was a dedicated member of the First Presbyterian Church.  Margie was a farmer at heart and exercised that through her gardening skills.  She loved working in her flowers and thoroughly enjoyed raising her tomatoes.  The world revolved around her family.   She adored spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.  Early in marriage, she worked as a nurse but the job she so loved and, where she excelled, was in caring for her family.   She loved deeply, was a good friend to so many, an exceptional mother, and wonderful grandmother.  Margie invested her soul and spirit into those she loved and will never be forgotten.

Margie Galloway Lee is survived by her husband, Steve Lee of Bainbridge, Georgia, her children, Jason Lee (Nichole) of Bainbridge and Lauren Lee Clark (Russell) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; grandchildren, Sybil and Henry Lee, Sadie and Connor Clark; her siblings, Larry Galloway of Hartford, Alabama,  Karol Lee of Williston, Florida, and Kenny Galloway of Hartford; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jerry Galloway, Patsy Ward, and Peggy Kelly.
