The Grace Christian Academy Cross Country team traveled to Middle Georgia State University over the last weekend to compete in the GIAA-AA Middle School State XC Meet. The Cougars had an impressive performance at the meet, with the girl’s team taking second place, and the boy’s team taking third.
Not only did both teams do well, but 8th grader Perry Glenn took first place, making him the boy’s State Champion.
After Glenn, on the boy’s team, Tom Chastain took 8th place; Baylor Johnson took 12th place; Aaron Pritchard took 14th; Carter Atkinson came in 16th; Harrison Chastain came in 18th; and Brayden Stewart came in 20th.
For the girl’s team, Margaret Chastain came in 3rd; Rosie Glenn came in 8th; Emma Glenn came in 9th; Anna Claire Moore came in 11th; and Skyla Walker came in 12th.
