Frankie Anne Shead was born August 29, 1946, in Douglasville, GA, the daughter of Benjamin & Charlotte Deal Shead. After high school, Frankie earned college credits but decided to marry the love of her life, Bobby Lee Howard in 1966. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Cairo.
With a strong faith and love of the Lord, Frankie was the perfect example of the hands & feet of Jesus. She shared her faith freely and loved unconditionally. Frankie served the family she held dear tending their every need. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and sewing. Many crochet and sewing projects were completed in front of the television as she watched reruns of her favorite program, The Andy Griffith Show, which highlighted the values she deemed important. Her hardline conservative views lead her to support Donald Trump in “making America great again”.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Bobby Howard; her children, Kim Cox and Lee & Brandy Howard, all of Bainbridge, Penny & Wilburn Cofer of Trion, GA, Brandan & Charity Howard of Jakin, and Jerry & Eva Boyd of Perry, FL; her grandchildren, Haley & Cliff, Hannah, Brett, Lauren, Leah & Callan, Grayson, Kelsey, Jessica, Matt & Jasmine, Alexis, Paul, Austin, Marlayna & Nick, Alexi, Thomas, Jasmine, and Josh; her eighteen great-grandchildren; and her sister, Kay Kuhlman and her husband, Randy, of Dallas, GA. In addition to her parents, Frankie was preceded in death by her brothers, Bob and Tony.
Bryant Funeral Home, located at 105 N. Florida Street, is assisting the family with arrangements. (229-246-3321)
