Firehouse hosts Bob Ross workshop

Bainbridge, GA – The Firehouse Arts Center is making creativity a part of the festive celebrations.

The Firehouse recently hosted a festive holiday-themed Bob Ross painting workshop, focusing on creating a serene winter wonderland. The event saw enthusiastic participation from community members of all ages, showcasing the area’s vibrant artistic spirit.

Andy Taylor, a certified Bob Ross instructor, led the workshop with his trademark joy and expertise, guiding participants step-by-step through Bob’s Ross signature painting process. Taylor’s approach, inspired by the beloved Bob Ross, made the experience accessible and enjoyable for artists of all skill levels. Attendees had the unique opportunity to create their masterpieces to take home, whether they were new to painting or seasoned artists refining their techniques.

“Andy Taylor embodies the essence of Bob Ross’s philosophy, making painting fun and approachable for everyone,” said Chelsea Kornse, Director of the Firehouse Arts Center. “It has been a pleasure for us to offer these classes throughout 2024, and we are thankful for the positive response from our community. We are so excited to continue these Bob Ross workshops into 2025 centered around florals. These workshops will begin on March 1st.”
