Hospitality was Betty Sue’s love language. She kept her household organized and motivated while lending a helping hand wherever needed. Everyone felt welcomed and loved by Betty Sue, and she often became the prayer warrior for those taken under her wing.

Betty Sue believed the example she set at home was her legacy. She enjoyed spending time with family, which often consisted of those not “blood-kin” but chosen from co-workers, customers, and her church family. Bearing the fruit of the spirit was evidence of her steadfast faith and commitment to Christ.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Ralph E. Spooner; her sons, Shannon Spooner (Kathryn) of Pinellas Park, FL and Murray B. Spooner of Bainbridge; her granddaughter, Zoey; and her sister, Peggy B. Brinson of Atlanta. In addition to her parents, Betty Sue was preceded in death by her brothers, Ward Brady and Van Brady.
