Walker Elrod qualifies for New Balance Nationals in Boston

Walker Elrod’s recent performance in Atlanta at the 12th Annual Marietta Distance Carnival meet was nothing short of extraordinary. Running the 3,200-meter race, clocking an impressive 9:22.43, shaving three seconds off his personal record, and running his best lap in (1:09.59). His relentless perseverance and sharp focus yielded an impressive time as he secured a fourth-place finish, qualifying him for the prestigious New Balance Nationals in Boston, come March 13-16, 2025.

The Championship Division that Elrod is a member of is an exclusive category designed specifically for students in grades seven through 12, offering them a unique platform to compete and showcase their talents. Only athletes who fall within this grade range are eligible to participate, ensuring that the competition remains fair and tailored to their developmental stage.
