US Air Force Retired Chief Master Sergeant Randy Eugene Roland, 71, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 15, 2025.

Randy was born on March 23, 1953, in Bainbridge, Georgia, to Thomas and Constance Roland. He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1971 before dedicating 22 years of service to his country in the United States Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Following his military career, he continued his commitment to public service, working for 22 years with the State of Florida Public Service Commission.

Randy was a devoted husband, married to his wife, Kathy Roland, for 45 years. Together, they raised three children: Kelii Roland-Kirkland, Jason Roland (wife, Kimberly), and Alex Roland. He was a proud grandfather to Haylee Kirkland, Michael Roland, and William Roland. He also leaves behind many cherished family members and friends.

Randy lived life to the fullest, enjoying bike riding, traveling, fishing, working out, and, most of all, spending time with his family.

His unwavering love, generosity, and devotion to his family and friends will be forever cherished and deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32308 on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 10 AM EST.

Randy will be laid to rest with military honors in the Tallahassee National Cemetery, 5015 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, Florida at 12 NOON on February 24, 2025.
