Grace Christian Academy proudly celebrates Senior Chloe Brogdon for her outstanding achievement in representing the school at the GIAA All-Star game this weekend in Macon, Georgia. Competing alongside some of the top basketball talent in the state, Chloe showcased her talent leaving a lasting impression on the court.
As an integral part of the Grace Christian Lady Cougars basketball program, Brogdon consistently demonstrated leadership and determination throughout high school. Her selection for the prestigious All-Star game reflects her outstanding skills and dedication to the sport, which are bolstered by her averages of nearly 14 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals per game.
GCA head basketball coach Kelsey Raley and assistant coach Delaney Mueller have been with the program for three years seeing Brogdon‘s role grow more in the leadership category and improve on and off the court. Their guidance and support have played a key role in helping Brogdon excel as a talented athlete and play postseason basketball this past season. Together, they have built a high school basketball program centered on effort, camaraderie, and devotion to basketball.
“It was a full circle moment, she is a phenomenal player and has been a vital asset to the culture of Grace basketball,” Raley said. “I felt like this was her moment to spotlight that she’s earned over the last three years that we’ve coached her, and the opportunity to play on that big stage to experience.”
The Grace Christian community beams with pride as we celebrate Brogdon’s well-deserved recognition at the GIAA All-Star game. Her determination and achievements inspire her teammates, future players, and everyone who has supported her journey.
“Grace is a great place for multiple reasons, mainly being known for its Christian faith,” Raley said. “They demonstrate the ability to prosper in the sports landscape just like bigger schools, in the case of basketball Chloe, has excelled in being noticed because of how serious she put in the hours after practice. I thought it was great for the school overall to showcase to other people in the community that athletes excel at GCA.”
