SCCA Literary Team takes 2nd place in debut year

Spring Creek Charter Academy Literary Team Earns 2nd Place in their 1st Year Eligible to Compete!
[Bainbridge, GA]—Spring Creek Charter Academy (SCCA) is celebrating a major achievement: its Literary Team placed 2nd Overall in its first year of eligibility for the competition! Competing against experienced teams, these talented students showcased exceptional skill, dedication, and teamwork, making a remarkable debut on the literary stage.
The SCCA team was composed of students from across grade levels: 11th graders Payton Staples, Amiracle Hines, Layndon Zahm, and Aeryal Hardin; 10th graders My’Keria Martin and Lidabeth Whiddon; and 9th graders Asher Flowers and Myron Woods. Notably, Asher Flowers earned 1st Place in Humorous Interpretation and will be advancing to the State competition!
SCCA Literary Coach Krystal Apke shared her pride in the team’s accomplishments:
“I’m just so proud of our students for trying something new and stepping outside of their comfort zone. They all worked extremely hard and wanted to put their best foot forward. Seeing them compete and connect with other students, share tips, and encourage one another was inspiring. Their dedication and sportsmanship were truly impressive, and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish next year!”
