Bainbridge native and veteran Johnny Glenn will be participating in Team Red, White & Blue’s upcoming Old Glory Ultra Relay. The run will begin in San Diego, and conclude in Washington DC, and involve 12 veterans, split into three teams of four. The goal of the run is to raise $1 million for veteran health and wellness, while also setting the world record for relaying a single American flag across the country.

Glenn, a graduate of the BHS Class of ’95, has 21 years of service in the US Army, having joined the Green Berets.

The relay is set to begin on May 2, with the goal of finishing by May 17.
