On Saturday morning, Downtown Bainbridge hosted its Second Saturday event, drawing residents and visitors to support local businesses and enjoy a lively community gathering.
Second Saturday, a monthly initiative, encourages shoppers to explore downtown stores while taking advantage of exclusive sales, discounts, and special promotions. Many businesses participated, offering unique shopping experiences and incentives to engage the community.
Throughout the morning, crowds gathered to browse, shop, and relax at Willis Park, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. Claire Phillips, Special Events Coordinator for the City of Bainbridge, kicked off the sunny day with cool, refreshing, and free popsicles, delighting attendees with a simple treat.
Adding to the festivities, First Port City Bank (FCPB) showed its support by setting up a cornhole game featuring live music by Madison Avery and distributing free FCPB merchandise such as t-shirts, hats, pens, cups, and signage.
With a mix of shopping, entertainment, and community engagement, the Second Saturday event once again proved to be a fun and successful gathering, reinforcing Bainbridge’s dedication to supporting local businesses and bringing people together.
