Ronald ‘Bo’ Johnson

Graveside services for Ronald Milton “Bo” Johnson, 60, of Smithville, Tenn., formerly of Donalsonville, Ga., were held Tuesday, Feb. 1, at Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Donalsonville with the Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating.

He was born in Donalsonville on Sept. 23, 1950, to the late Earl Milton and Esmerelda Alday Johnson. He died Jan. 29, 2011, in Baxter, Tenn. He graduated from Seminole County High School, attended Military College in Marion, Ala., Middle Georgia College, and also Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College. He and his brother farmed and had a hog operation and also worked at Johnson’s Grocery Store. His hobbies were hunting and fishing.

He is survived by one son, Robert Earl “Bob” Johnson of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one daughter, Mistee J. Silvey of Baxter; one brother, Danny Johnson of Donalsonville; two sisters, Diane Trawick of Iron City and Kathy Johnson of Donalsonville; one grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
