Bainbridge police are hoping citizens might be able to recognize the suspects in yet another armed robbery that happened Saturday night.

Two black men, both masked and one of them carrying a gun, robbed the Las Lomas convenience store at 210 N. Scott Street at around 9:10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, according to Bainbridge Public Safety.

The two men entered the store and demanded money from a store employee, who gave them money from a cash register. The robbers also took money from a customer in the store before leaving the store on foot. The suspects were last seen running northwest, toward the neighborhood commonly known as the Pear Orchard, Investigator James Dollar said.

The suspect who had the gun was wearing a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt with an image of President Barack Obama printed on it, according to Investigator Dollar, who had reviewed the store’s surveillance video. Suspect No. 1 was also wearing baggy, slightly bleached blue jeans, gloves and dark-colored tennis shoes. He wore a mask over his face.

Suspect No. 2 wore a white, hooded sweatjacket which had a black pattern printed all over it, Dollar said. The second suspect wore dark blue or black jeans, had a black ski mask covering his face and had a backpack.

Public Safety asks anyone with information about the robbery or possible suspects to call BPS headquarters at 248-2038. Citizens can make tips anonymously.
