Signs are found throughout Mitchell County and southwest Georgia, with the words “Pray for Brynlee” on them. Brynlee Nicole Ethridge, the 3-year-old daughter of Blair and Lee Ethridge of Newton, was diagnosed Feb. 16, 2012, with leukemia, a kind of blood cancer.

Brynlee is the great-grandchild of Donnie and Virginia Wooten of Bainbridge. Her parents and family say prayers are appreciated, but people can also make donations to help Brynlee and her family through this trying time.
