City officials want motorists to realize that the intersection at Clay and Water Streets is now a four-way stop. All traffic from all directions must now pause at the stop sign, while before only traffic from Clay Street had to stop.

According to a press release from the DOT, there will be additional pavement widening taking place on that highway next week, and drivers should be aware that the road may narrow to one lane at times.
